Cross Country or Long Distance pipelines are still an important and cost effective means for transporting gas and liquid energy resources. But the recent decade has shown that an aging pipeline infrastructure is in dire need of testing and rehabilitation. Standard testing methods have proven inadequate for indicating where the problem areas are and how soon a potential failure may occur. Leak Detection Technologies has the ability to not only identify existing leak locations but also determine the leak rate down to a minimum 50 gallons per year in most cases.
