PHDleak™

PHDleak™ is a step-pressure leak detection method for testing underground pipelines developed solely by Leak Detection Technologies. The method equipment can be permanently installed on a pipeline or can be transported to any site for the testing period.

PHDleak™ is currently used to test pipelines for railroad companies across the U.S.

PHDleak™ is listed by the National Work Group of Leak Detection Evaluations (NWGLDE) and was evaluated by Ken Wilcox Associates according to EPA protocols.

*EPA semi-anmual minimum detectable leak rate may be 6.0 gallons per hour until October 13, 2021 fr pipe segments greater than 100,000 gallons. After October 13, 2021, the minimum detectable leak rate cannot exceed 3.0 gallons per half hour
